To incentivize his employees to take a greener approach, Jack even had an electric vehicle charging dock installed in the eForCity parking lot. eForCity really takes seriously the initiative to be a Green company.  Products are shipped in packaging that is 100% recyclable.

Prior to eForCity, Jack was a Business Process and IT consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Leveraging his IT experience and methodology, Jack has created proprietary technology to scale operations, be customer centric, and meticulously work to improve operational efficiency while maintaining fiscal control.  Jack holds a Bachelors of Science from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.

 Our Story

eForCity® was conceived on one fateful night in 2000. We were sitting in a garage and contemplating life. After the second slice of pizza, an idea came to our young adventurous minds. No, we didn't start a rock band, even though that would have been cool. We decided that the world has had enough of overpriced gadget accessories and something needed to be done. So, we started selling bargain electronic accessories online right from that garage, with a makeshift "warehouse" made of cardboard boxes. Soon after, eForCity.com® was born. Tax Policy
We only collect sales tax in California. For states imposing sales or use taxes, your purchase is subject to use tax unless it is specifically exempt from taxation. Your purchase is not exempt merely because it was made over the Internet or by other remote means. Many states require purchasers to file a sales/use tax return at the end of the year reporting all of the taxable purchases that were not taxed and to pay tax on those purchases. Listed below, to our best knowledge, are states that require retailers to provide notice.

Oklahoma:

For Oklahoma purchasers, the tax may be reported and paid on the Oklahoma individual income tax return [Form 511] or by filing a consumer use tax return [Form 21-1]. The referenced forms and corresponding instructions are available on the Oklahoma Tax Commission website, www.tax.ok.gov. We are required to provide the notice above for Oklahoma purchases based on Oklahoma law (HB 2359) enacted in June 2010.

South Carolina:

Please be aware that you may owe South Carolina Use Tax on your purchases. You may visit www.sctax.org to pay the use tax or you may report and pay the tax on your South Carolina Income Tax Form. We're required to provide this notice based on South Carolina law Section 12-36-2691(E)(1).

South Dakota:

For South Dakota purchasers, the tax may be reported and paid on the South Dakota use tax form. The use tax form and corresponding instructions are available on the South Dakota Department of Revenue website. We are required to provide the notice above for South Dakota purchases based on South Dakota law (SB 146) enacted in April 2011.

Tennessee:

Please be aware that purchases shipped to Tennessee may be subject to Tennessee Use Tax (T.C.A. § 67-6-210) unless an exemption exists under Tennessee law. A sale is not exempt under Tennessee law because it is made through the Internet. Payments of applicable Tennessee use tax may be made through the Tennessee Department of Revenue's Website at https://apps.tn.gov/usetax.

Vermont:

For Vermont purchasers, the tax may be reported and paid on the Vermont use tax form. The use tax form and corresponding instructions are available on the Vermont department of taxes website. We are required to provide the notice above for Vermont purchases based on Vermont law (H 436) enacted in May 2011.
We ship Standard via USPS, UPS, and DHL at our discretion. Your shipping address must verify with the USPS. We take no responsibility for packages shipped to non-confirmed USPS addresses. eForCity has Next Day, Second Day and Expedited Shipping available. Orders are processed and shipped within 2 business days. When choosing standard shipping method, please allow 10-14 business days for delivery.

Return & Refund Policy:

All products sold by eForCity on Buy.com are guarantee brand new. Returns must be in brand new, resalable, unopened condition. All returns will be evaluated and tested upon receipt by our technical team. A restocking fee will be applied if items are not in sellable condition. Returns after 45 days will not be accepted.

All unopened / unused products covered under this Health and Beauty Product return policy are backed by a 30-day Money Back Guarantee. You may return the item(s) to us within 30 days of invoice date for a full refund. We do NOT accept return / exchange / refund on any opened / used Health and Beauty Products for any reason. For un-open / un-used products, you are welcome to send it back to us for an exchange OR A FULL REFUND.

eForCity® in its sole and absolute discretion shall be the sole determiner of whether a product is in fact defective.

Special Return Policy

All returns under Special Return Policy requires an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. All items returned without RMA number will be refused.
All returns under Special Return Policy must include the following:
1. Original packaging (manufacturer's box, plastic bags, etc.)
2. Original intact UPC barcode. Do not cut out the UPC code (for rebates) until you have examined and tested the product to your satisfaction. Removal of the UPC code voids any possibility of return regardless of RMA or credit request status.
3. Valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is REQUIRED on every return package. You can obtain the RMA number by contacting us at CSreturns@eforcity.com with your Invoice Number or Order Number.
4. Original packing slip. Do not mail or dispose of the packing slip (for rebates) until you have examined and tested the product to your satisfaction.
5. The return must be complete and include all accessories (antennas, remote controls, batteries, software disks, etc.)
6. Manufacturer documentation (manuals, warranty cards, registration information, etc.)
The RMA number must be written on the invoice or the shipping box. The RMA number must NOT be written on the original manufacturer's packaging. Items received with any writing on the original manufacturer's packaging will be refused and returned to you at your cost and without credit approval.

Seasonal Products
• Return for refund: Within 15 days from the Invoice Date (restrictions apply: Wrong ship / Defective** ONLY)
• Return for replacement: Not offered

eForCity® does NOT offer any returns on any products unless it's due to wrong item shipped or defective item **(manufacture defect only; Defect due to user error excluded). All items must be returned in the original brand new condition within 15 days of the invoice date. All returns other than the listed conditions will be refused at customer’s cost. eForCity® in its sole and absolute discretion shall be the sole determiner of whether a product is in fact defective or wrong item shipped.

Please email buycom@eforcity.com to submit your RMA request. You will receive instructions on how to return items to Eforcity.

• All returns must be shipped freight prepaid with a tracking number.
Customers are responsible for using reputable carriers that are capable of providing proof of delivery and insurance for the entire value of the shipment. Customers agree to bear risk of loss for the product during return shipment. No COD or Freight collect returns will be accepted by Eforcity.

• All related fees (shipping & return shipping fees) are NON-REFUNDABLE for all products
All shipping fees are NON-REFUNDABLE unless otherwise agreed by Eforcity.

• Physical Damages to any product will void the product's warranty and eligibility for return
Modifying a product is considered as physically damaging the product and will void the product's warranty. A product cannot be returned under these circumstances.
